If you’re looking for fun, adventure and adrenaline-fuelled outdoor play then look no further than the playgrounds at Gnoll County Park. We have three purpose built outdoor playgrounds catering to all ages and those with accessibility needs.
Toddler and Accessible Playground
Located next to the new Visitor Centre, the toddler and accessible playground is the perfect area for toddlers to find their feet on the springy bouncers, roundabout, swings and slides. The accessible play area has a ground level trampoline and Rhianna’s Swing, both suitable for wheelchair users.Â
On sunny days, you won’t have to go far for refreshments, with the Kiosk window at the Visitor Centre just next door, supplying ice creams and hot and cold drinks!
Adventure Playground
Enter our Adventure Playground to experience the multi play climbing frames with monkey bar hoops, treetop climbing tower with spiralling tube slide and fireman’s pole! Get dizzy on the spinners and basket swings and zoom through the park on the zip wire!
NEW for Autumn 2025…. 3 more Treetop climbing towers with a GIANT Tower at the top of the park! Do you dare get to the top? And can you ride the spiral slide all the way back down to Earth?
Natural Playground
Tyres, Log steppers, Climbing wall and the Racing car are all to be explored in our Natural Playground, made sustainably with natural features.

We have an impressive soft play area Treetops Indoor Play in the Visitor Centre. With three storeys of fun and sensory play, young children can enjoy the new features, whatever the weather!

Also our award winning Tree of Many Faces is a re-imaging of our storytelling area on the north side of Fish Pond.
Embark on a magical journey where the Wood Spirit invites you to discover intricate wood carvings of mythical and woodland creatures hidden along the path. How many of the Tree’s faces can you count? Take a moment to rest in the Gnoll Throne, a storytelling seat where the rich history and tales of the park come to life.
Come explore, hunt for carvings, and immerse yourself in the stories that make our park truly special.Â
Our brand new playground is a multi-level interactive adventure play area for explorers of all ages. Complete with slides, climbing walls and challenging multi-platform spaces, children can let their imagination run wild as they move through the structures.
Designed for all abilities, Gnoll Towers is a colourful, multi-sensory play area with a range of accessibility features from ground-level access and wide pathways to ramps and varying levels of difficulties. Gnoll Towers is a fantastic addition to our outdoor play areas and hours of fun await visitors of all ages.Â
