Our brand new Visitor Centre is open. The fully accessible two storey visitor centre includes a modern café serving a wide range of locally sourced food and drinks. It will also have a south facing balcony with views across the pond, perfect for a catch up with friends, a business meeting or a quiet moment in nature.
The Visitor Centre is also a hub of activity with space for events, meetings and conferences and an exciting children’s soft play area.
Our new café inside the Visitor Centre is a must-visit space for a hot drink and a catch up with friends. Serving hot and cold meals, snacks, barista quality hot drinks, all your favourite ice creams and more while you take in the panoramic views looking out over our south-facing balcony.
A hot summer’s day wouldn’t be complete with an Ice Cream from our kiosk window after a long walk or play.
The historic Pond Cottage which dates back to 1795 was a prominent part of the Estate. Owned by the Mackworth family throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, Pond Cottage was part of the landscaping work that took place to also include a fishpond and the Formal Cascades.
Thanks to Gnoll Country Park’s recent £12m improvement works, Pond Cottage has been restored to its former glory and is available for private hire as holiday accommodation for up to six people.
