Gnoll House Digital Reconstruction
The once imposing Gnoll House looked over the town of Neath and was a prominent landmark in the area. It featured a Georgian castellated style with round corner towers and a glass conservatory.
Over time, the house was modernised and reduced in size, with parts of the house being demolished in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. The house was completely demolished in 1957 due to safety concerns and only the footprint of the house remains.
It is difficult to imagine what the house may have looked like when it was first built in 1776 but we have created a digital reconstruction to give you the opportunity to visualise this once grand and opulent home.
Gnoll Country Park has a rich cultural and industrial heritage. Before it was a public space, it was owned by several families who each put their own unique stamp on both Gnoll House and on the various business interests that started from the Estate.
