We are so excited to welcome you to our new Visitors Centre. Our brand new Visitor Centre is now open. The fully accessible two storey Visitor Centre includes a modern café serving a wide range of locally sourced food and drinks. It also has a south facing balcony with views across the lake, perfect for a catch up with friends, a business meeting or a quiet moment in nature. Â

We have an exciting programme of year-round events catering to a wide-range of interests and ages. From family fun days through to food festivals and our weekly parkrun. Join our mailing list to be the first to hear about new events as we announce them.
The historic Pond Cottage which dates back to 1795 was a prominent part of the Estate. Owned by the Mackworth family throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, Pond Cottage was part of the landscaping work that took place to also include a fishpond and the Formal Cascades. Now available to book as a holiday cottage sleeping up to six people and dog friendly.Â
Our newly refurbished Visitor Centre is a versatile venue for your next event. Complete with meeting rooms and conference spaces, the Visitor Centre can host up to 100 people. With a range of catering options and flexible breakout areas, Gnoll Country Park could be the backdrop to your next AGM, conference, meeting or team day.
Refurbishment update
Gnoll Country Park is having a £12m upgrade. From a new visitor centre to the careful restoration of historic features, the work will enhance the visitor experience for everyone. The work will be completed in the Spring 2026.
